Evergreen Park is a 103 acre parcel in Michigan’s Thumb area located nine miles north of M-46 on M-53. It is adjacent to the Cass River, which is home to 23 species of fish. There is a campground with pull-through sites and handicap accessibility, a pavilion, playground equipment, and hiking trails.
Evergreen Parks & Recreation offers a high quality recreational experience and is competitive with those in other front range cities. The district is well run, and residents are supportive of its expansion plans. However, residents also want to keep the city’s growth in check and want more facilities that are ADA compliant. Ballot issues 6C and 6D are not good for the community.
